Setting up your Raspberry Pi

Here is a good instruction for setting up your Raspberry Pi:

Notes:

“Running headless”: Your Raspberry Pi is not connected to a monitor and a keyboard. Instead you work remotely from an other computer (using its monitor and keyboard), while you are connected over a network. To set this up you will still need a monitor and a keyboard. To make it simple, work “running attached”: Connect a monitor and a keyboard to your Raspberry Pi.

"Set up your SD card": You need to copy files to a SD card. Alternatively, you can also buy a SD card containing these files. Or you have a friend, who can help you with this.
